Fall 2014 Wedding Trends

Goodbye summer weddings, hello romantic autumnal ambiance! Just because the sun has gone into hibernation, doesn’t mean your wedding has to. Autumn weddings are stunning simply because the colours nature brings to us. Here are some of the hottest fall wedding trends taking our banquet hall by storm.

Keep your Bridesmaids Warm

Don’t let your bridesmaids freeze during outdoor photos. Make sure each girl has a pashmina or small jacket to accompany their dress.

Warm Colours

Warm hues and tones are popular choices for fall weddings. For bridesmaid dresses or bow ties lean towards colours like brown, plum or grey.

Flowers

Red and yellow bouquets are lovely choices for fall flowers with small touches of deep crimson and gold leaves, plus tons of greenery. What about adding a pumpkin to really accent the cold nighttime air?

Centrepieces

Centrepieces that reflect the outdoors are the perfect way to bring ambiance from out to in. Think gorgeous candelabras, vibrant colours, potted plants, moss and lanterns. Using actual falling leaves or branches add that much needed woodsy element to the decor.

Pumpkins!

Pumpkins are not just for halloween. They are the true mascot of fall and what better way to bring in the stunning season, then by having pumpkins used throughout the ceremony. Not only have we seen them in centrepieces, but we’ve seen mini pumpkins used as place card holders or as the flower girl baskets!

Floating Lanterns

Anything from flower ball lanterns to silk lanterns or even paper-these decor items add a simple sophistication of radiance to furnish the room.

Caramel Apples

The perfect treat for your dessert table! Apples are a staple to the autumn weather and adding caramel or candy to them makes them a fun and enjoyable treat.

Gold Accents

Instead of the classic silver flatware, gold is a fresh way to illuminate the reception tables.
