West Indian-Caribbean Wedding receptions are filled with tradition, music and good food. Finding a banquet hall which offers traditional Caribbean dishes for weddings is difficult because authentic West Indian food should only be prepared by a person with Caribbean heritage and upbringing. The flavours are unique and inherent in island tradition. Anyone can read a West Indian recipe, but not everyone can execute and deliver an authentic Caribbean menu.
The Avenue Banquet Hall is pleased and proud to have an in house Caribbean chef. Our chef was born in Barbados and was trained and apprenticed in the West Indies.
Mouth watering spicy jerk chicken, curried goat, rice and peas, sweet and savoury plantain. There is no shortage of amazing Caribbean foods which a bride and groom can choose from for their upcoming wedding reception. Our chef will design a menu which will transport your guests to the islands.
